Congressman David Scott's Health Fair Draws Hundreds!!!!

The fibroid team headed south to Jonesboro for Congressman David Scott's Annual Health Fair at Mundy's Mill High School on Fayetteville Road. The health fair attracted hundreds of community residents and dozens of vendors from all over Metro Atlanta. The fibroids team was a popular attraction as usual. It was incredible to see the looks on women's faces when they heard the news their fibroids could be treated non-surgically with  UFE, Uterine Fibroid Embolization.

City of Atlanta's Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs Health Fair

The City of Atlanta's Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs rolled out the red carpet for vendors all over Metro Atlanta for the annual health fair for city employees. The health fair drew hundreds of workers who were eager to gain information on health related issues including fibroids and UFE. Of course, our signature pink bags were a hit as usual.

All Around Town!!!!

The Fibroids Team is making stops all around the Metro Atlanta area to educate women on UFE, a non surgical option for the treatment of fibroids. Most women I talk to are surprised to learn that UFE or uterine fibroid embolization only takes 45 minutes and the patient goes home with just a band aid. A band aid? Yes, a band aid. The patient is also back to work in about a week.

The Fibroid Team, led by Marjorie Coley visited Delta Airlines, the Internal Revenue Service, Fulton County DFACS and Word of Faith in East Point.We also joined AmeriGroup for a back to school/health fair at the Walmart on Gresham Road. Despite the rain, 400 people participated in the event. V103 Radio was also on hand to entertain the crowd.

The Got Fibroids Team Heads To Macon!!!

UFE & Fibroid Expert Dr. John Lipman addresses a group of women at Macedonia Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. Over a hundred women turned out to hear the latest news on fibroids and UFE, uterine fibroid embolization. Radio personality AJ the DJ was on hand from WRVB, V101.7 in Macon.

The Got Fibroids Team Is On The Move!

Summer is here and the got fibroids team is making the rounds in Metro Atlanta. We stopped by the Atlanta Fire Department's Open House recently to participate in the city-wide community day. The DJ blasted the music while community residents feasted on barbecue chicken and ribs, hamburgers and hotdogs.  Health screenings were also available and women stopped by the got fibroids table to learn more about UFE, uterine fibroid embolization, a non surgical procedure for treating fibroids. Atlanta's Fire Chief also stopped by to join in the festivities.

The got fibroids team also participated in the City of Atlanta's Health and Safety Awareness Day at Atlanta City Hall.
